Joining the Board are Richard Flahive of Wilton and Tom Wynne of Rye. “These new board members embody the spirit of community and bring talent, expertise and energy to a board dedicated to helping older adults in the community, ” said Marie Johnson, Executive Director.
Mr. Flahive is a member of Rye Rotary Club and is a private wealth advisor and director of research and planning at Hightower Westchester in Harrison, New York. Mr. Wynne has been a volunteer with SPRYE since 2011. He is a retired commercial mechanical engineer.
Three current board members move into new positions. Dan O’Day, of Rye will serve as Chair, Executive Committee and Sarah Young, a Port Chester resident, will serve as secretary. Hilary Garland of Rye will serve as the organization’s treasurer.
Moving onto the Advisory Council is Barbara Brunner, Joan Feinstein and Wendy Weinreb.
