Rye resident Nancy Haneman received the James A. and Marian M. Shea Community Service Award from the Rye City Lions Club on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
The award was established in 2003 to recognize an individual who lives or works in the Rye Community and has contributed to enhancing the lives of its Citizens by volunteering services of an outstanding nature.
Nancy served as the President of SPRYE, Chair of the Executive Committee and is currently Chair of the Advisory Council.
She was awarded proclamations from, left to right, Josh Cohen, Mayor Rye, Catherine Parker, Westchester County Legislator, District 7 and co-President of the Rye City Lions Club and Steve Otis Assemblyman, District 91.
