Rye resident Isobel Perry, former SPRYE Board member and current Advisory Council member will be honored this year by the Human Development Services of Westchester.

Isobel has been a champion for the programs, services, and clients served by HDSW for more than 50 years.

Since 1971, Isobel has served as a member of the Board of Directors, first joining the Board of the Futura House Foundation and then joining the HDSW of Port Chester.  In Rye, she has served on the Council for Human Rights, Rye Youth Council and Town Council of Community Services.

“Isobel was at all the early meetings when SPRYE began and she recommended best practices to the founders to help SPRYE in its initial efforts to grow,” said Executive Director Marie Johnson. “She’s a tireless volunteer and chaired the Program Committee right up until COVID forced in-person meetings to discontinue.”
