SPRYE welcomes new Board of Director President Dolores Eyler and four new board members Deb August, Chrissy Connor, Tish Stuebe, and George Whipple.
SPRYE is a member-based organization for adults 55 years and older who want to live confidently at home and stay connected to their community in meaningful ways.
Dolores takes over from Lauren Miscimarra, who will now serve as Chair of the Executive Committee. Rounding out the Executive Committee are Richard Flahive, Vice President; Maria Hargraves, Secretary; and Hilary Garland, Treasurer.
“I’m pleased to be a part of this very special organization that offers engaging and educational programs for older adults in the four communities we serve,” said Eyler.
Dolores is a dedicated volunteer who has served on several local boards, including the Rye YMCA, the Rye Arts Center, Rye Presbyterian Church and the national boards of POSSE and Operation Respect.
She is the founder of The Rye Record and has graduate degrees in both journalism and education. She and her husband, Van Siler, live in Rye.
